40-55 feet. 6-7' draft.
Up to $150K in USD.

Steel or aluminum hull, will consider fiberglass.
Aluminum masts.
3/4 keel with skeg hung rudder. No centerboard.
Cutter/Sloop, ketch, yawl, lug/junk rig.
Pilothouse or Aft cockpit.
No portholes in hull, no large windows.
Propane Galley.
Boat should be run-able.
Serious offshore capable.
Stainless steel rigging.
Tinned wiring.
Lead ballast.

Must have:
Diesel, Single engine 30-100hp. Less than 4000 hours.
Good access to engine.
Multiple water and fuel tanks.
2 Major cabins for 2 couples; possibly remodel for second cabin.
If steel or aluminum, plates in sound condition, recent paint.
Companionway on centerline.

List of designs and builders NOT interested in:
Catamaran or trimaran
No out and out racers

List of features NOT interested in:
Air conditioning, or anything else requiring major amounts of electricity.
Extended Bowsprit.
Roller furling.
Teak Decks.
Fancy or expensive interior.
Rod rigging.
Closed turnbuckles.

List of features, don't care:
Extensive electronics.
