Google Earth Test


I have experimented with this sort of thing. There does not appear to be any direct way. But if you go to the link below, and Save it to your disk, you  can open the resulting file in Google Earth and see a group of Push Pins on the US West Coast.

However, all this is a bit messy and NOT intuitive. This is an EXPLANATION page that tells you how to do all this. In other words, the tinyurl leads at the video page leads to this web page that explains what to do and then has a link to the .KML or .KMZ file and what to do after you save it.

You could run the video in one part of the screen and google earth with the same area on another screen. Heck of a learning tool.

If google earth would support links to YouTube that would do the same thing.
